Carlos Serra has joined Jones Lang LaSalle as regional director to oversee the firm's project and development services division in the Southwest, which includes Southern California, Arizona, Nevada and Hawaii.
In his new role, Serra will provide business development, sourcing, growth and talent development for a team of 70 project and development management professionals.
Before joining JLL, the 15-year industry veteran served as director and regional manager for Davis Langdon, an AECOM company. Before that he led a project and cost management team as director at the Altus Group.
Serra graduated from the University of Northumbria in Newcastle, United Kingdom, where he received an honours degree in Quantity Surveying.
Serra is replacing Judy Caruthers, executive vice president, who will now lead JLL's occupancy planning and strategy practice for the West region. There she will improve client's space utilization and provide efficient workplace solutions.
