Andrew Schwartz has rejoined Cushman & Wakefield of New Jersey, Inc. as a director in the firm's metropolitan area capital markets group. Based in the firm's Morristown, NJ office, Schwartz will focus on middle-market investment transactions.
Schwartz is rejoining the firm where he started his career as a broker in industrial sales and office leasing back in 1985. He worked there for eight years before heading to Wall Street and the financial services industry, most recently with Abel Noser for the past 11 years. Before that he was a financial adviser for Morgan Stanley.
"Over the years, I have always maintained a great interest in real estate, primarily as a principal," said Schwartz, who is a graduate of Rice University with a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering. "In returning to commercial real estate
brokerage, my desire was to specialize in the capital markets/investment sales area, which is a perfect combination of what I’ve been doing on Wall Street and my previous experience in commercial real estate."
