Scannell Properties Reveals Plans for New 409,000-SF Build-to-Suit Project in Suburban Cleveland

Taps Peak Construction to Build Aurora Facility
November 14, 2017
Scannell Properties, a privately owned build-to-suit and project developer based in Indianapolis, has confirmed it will construct a new 409,495-square-foot facility roughly 30 miles southeast of Cleveland off OH-43 in Aurora, OH.

The proposed build-to-suit will be configured to accommodate either a single user or multiple end users. Designed by Ware Malcomb Architects, the precast, ballasted EPDM-roofed building will feature a 32-foot clear height, 30 loading docks, knock out panels for future docks, one drive-in bay, 20 trailer spaces and parking for 75 cars expandable to 150.

Tapped to construct the new facility is Peak Construction Co., a national design-build firm headquartered in suburban Chicago. The building will be constructed around on-site wetlands, with an installation of an off-site forced sanitary main and the widening of S. Chillicothe Rd. to allow for the relocation of several power poles.
