Savills Studley Makes Key Hires

Industry Vets Nanci Love, Kari Downing Join Atlanta Office
February 8, 2018
Savills Studley has strengthened its Atlanta office with the addition of two industry veterans with a combined 45 years of experience.

The first, Nanci Love (pictured left), joins Savills Studley as a managing director in the firm's project management group. Love has 25 years of experience in corporate architecture, design and construction management. She previously worked as a senior project manager at Colliers International Atlanta.

The second, Kari Downing, now is an account manager in Savills Studley's tenant representation practice. Specializing in the government, medical, office, industrial and land sectors, Downing brings almost 20 years of experience to the tenant rep firm. She previously was a real estate manager of the Northside Hospital portfolio at Realty Trust Group.

Atlanta Market Leader Chris White, also a Savills Studley vice chairman, said the addition of Love and Downing fortifies the firm's project management and account management efforts. "We've made it our prime objective to recruit and retain the best talent in commercial real estate to meet the evolving demands of the market and growing needs of our clients," White said. "Nanci and Kari bring wide-ranging professional experiences that broaden the firm's bandwidth and regional capabilities in project management and account management."

Last year, White and Savills Studley made a splash when they recruited Shannon Price from JLL and hired Brian Boyd from Cushman & Wakefield.

Savills Studley traces its Atlanta roots back to 1997 when the late Julien J. Studley opened his office in Buckhead. An iconic New York City real estate figure, Studley started the Atlanta office with an all-star team of Bert Sanders, Frank Quatro, Andy Lechter and brothers Ed and Mark Kercher. All have moved on to other jobs in real estate, except for Lechter, currently a vice chairman in Savills Studley's Atlanta office.

London-based Savills plc acquired Studley Inc. in 2014 and renamed the U.S./Canadian operation Savills Studley.
