Robert Richter has joined South Florida Logistics Services (SFLS) as a vice president of business development. In his new role, Richter will generate new business opportunities for the company while marketing its real estate offerings.
The company owns one million square feet of industrial space
across South Florida, including a 400-acre intermodal complex adjacent to Miami International Airport, plus 2,100 acres of development land that could accommodate 24 million square feet of future industrial development.
Richter brings nearly a decade of international commercial real estate
development and brokerage experience, having served as president of Investment Advisory Services in Panama and as a founding member and director of NAI Panama in Panama City. He also worked at GATES Builders, a construction and development firm with offices in Florida.
"Robert has successfully combined his expertise in commercial real estate brokerage, project management and business development to execute multinational joint ventures that have yielded millions of dollars in transactional value," said SFLS President and CEO Chris Scott. "It’s that type of all-inclusive, global mindset that we are looking to attract as we continue to expand our footprint and reach internationally, especially to serve the Latin American and Caribbean markets."
Richter earned his bachelor's degree in communications from Wake Forest University and holds an MBA from Thunderbird School of Global Management. He is active in the Panama American Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and serves on the board for the Ascending 2 Greatness, a youth self-help charitable organization.
