HFF recruited James Koury as a senior managing director in its Boston office. The retail investment sales specialist will help lead the company’s national retail investment sale platform with an emphasis on the northeast region.
The 26-year commercial real estate
veteran has completed more than $3 billion in shopping center deals totaling 16 million square feet. He joined HFF from CBRE, where was an executive vice president and partner. The Boston College graduate was also a managing director at Jones Lang LaSalle and an executive vice president at Spaulding & Slye Colliers.
“James has deep rooted relationships with nearly all of the key retail buyers and sellers in the region and is widely recognized as a national expert in the area of shopping center sales,” said John Fowler, executive managing director of HFF in Boston.
Koury is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers.
HFF has 21 offices nationwide and is a provider of commercial property and capital markets services to the U.S. commercial real estate industry.
