Adam Rappaport has joined Avison Young as a principal in the firm's New York City office, continuing the rapid growth of its tenant and landlord office leasing platforms.
The office leasing specialist brings 13 years of experience at Cushman & Wakefield, where he most recently served as senior director. During his tenure, Rappaport executed numerous leasing transactions including: SourceMedia, Inc.'s 142,000 square feet of leases at 1 State Street Plaza and 1 Whitehall St., DirecTV Group's 138,000-square-foot lease at 1 Rockefeller Plz, and Infor Global Solution's lease at 641 Avenue of the Americas totaling 43,000 square feet. His client list also included UBS AG and BlackRock.

Rappaport holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from Miami University. He also chairs the junior board of HELP USA, a non-profit organization that develops housing and provides jobs and services for homeless and at-risk populations including families, veterans, and victims of domestic violence.
