Private Equity Asset Manager GoldPoint Partners Signs Full-Floor Lease at 299 Park Ave.

Fisher Brothers Building Adds New Tenant Under 15-Year Lease

GoldPoint Partners, LLC, a private equity asset manager, signed a full floor, 15-year lease for approximately 30,000 square feet at 299 Park Ave in New York City.

The 42-story Fisher Bros. building totals 1.3 million square feet and was constructed in 1967. GoldPoint leased the entire 37th floor. The firm plans to relocate from 51 Madison Ave. in the second quarter of 2019.

The new tenant is the fourth financial firm to sign a full floor lease at 299 Park Avenue over the past eight months, according to Fisher Bros., joining Traxys, B. Riley and Varagon Capital Partners. Other financial service companies with offices in the building include Capital One, UBS, Carlyle Group and American Securities.

GoldPoint Partners, an affiliate of New York Life Investment Management and subsidiary of New York Life Insurance Co., currently manages $12.7 billion of private equity assets on behalf of pension funds, endowments, financial institutions and high net-worth investors

Richard Bernstein, Steve Braun and Christine Colley of Cushman & Wakefield represented the tenant, while Fisher Brothers was represented in-house by Marc Packman and Clark Briffel, as well as by Andrew Sachs and Pete Shimkin of Newmark Knight Frank.
