John Parker has joined Trammell Crow as a strategic consultant to its capital markets group. In his new role, Parker will focus on identifying new investment trends, analyzing various philosophies and advising the group on best practices in addition to capital raising, investor relations and structuring joint ventures.
Before Trammell Crow, Parker served as president of Bentall Kennedy where he was a founding principal of Kennedy Associates and served as head of its investment committee. During his 30 years with the firm, he also held title as chief executive officer, director of asset management, and director of acquisitions.
"John brings over 30 years of industry experience to TCC, and the ability to identify investment trends, as well as experience in identifying commercial projects and partners to generate strong, consistent investment performance," said John Stirek, president - Western operations and capital markets for Trammell Crow Company. Parker holds an MBA from Harvard University and received his undergraduate degree from Stanford University. He is a member of ULI and served as a director of the national associations of real estate investments managers and the elite group of mutual funds.
