Top Healthcare Office Broker and Founder of Olmstead Realty Named Senior Director
George Olmstead joined Cushman & Wakefield as senior director and principal of the firm's healthcare practice group.
Olmstead will manage and identify commercial opportunities throughout the Southeast U.S. with a focus on healthcare/medical office buildings.
In 2008 he founded Olmstead Realty, a healthcare brokerage firm where he provided leasing services to a number of healthcare clients including Resurgens Orthopaedics, Neurotrials Research, CMED LLC and the Advanced Urology Institute of Georgia. In 2013, he earned the CoStar Power Broker Award as the Top Office Leasing Broker in Atlanta.
Prior to establishing Olmstead Realty, Olmstead headed up the brokerage division as a partner at medical office building developer Korbo Property Services and spent seven years as assistant vice president at Cousins Properties.
Olmstead will continue to represent several listing assignments that originated while with Olmstead Realty, including the 360,000-square-foot Emory University Hospital Midtown Medical Office Tower, the 160,000-square-foot Meridian Mark Plaza, the 100,000-square-foot Glenridge Medical Center and the 90,000-square-foot Preston Ridge Professional Campus.
Olmstead is a member of the Atlanta Commercial Board of Realtors, board member of Atlanta Neighborhood Planning Unit C and is the land use chair for the Brandon Neighborhood Association. He earned a bachelor's degree in history from Emory University.
