New Office Bldg. Opens in Washington, D.C.

Lerner Enterprises Unveils its Newest Property -- 20 M Street SE
March 13, 2007
Lerner Enterprises has completed its latest office project, a 190,600-square-foot Class A building located at 20 M Street SE in the Southeast Corridor of Washington D.C. just two blocks from the new Washington Nationals Stadium.

The 10-story building includes great views of the Washington Monument, the U.S. Capitol, and the new stadium. The property sits across from the Navy Yard metro.

Among its multiple amenities are glass walls in the lobby and wrap-around windows to maximize views. The building is environmentally friendly and focuses on energy and resource conservation including a roof that was designed to reduce heat loss, plumbing to reduce water consumption, recycling, humidification controls and high efficiency HVAC systems. This is the first building designed and developed by Lerner under its Green Initiative Program. Lerner will submit the building for a Gold rating, the second highest-level certification in the U.S. Green Building Council's Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) program

Brian R. Raher and Brian T. McVay of Cushman & Wakefield have been retained as leasing agents for the office space and Lerner Corp. will handle the retail space.
