Lowe Enterprises has hired Suzi Morris as senior vice president to manage the firm’s development projects in Pacific Northwest markets.
In addition to overseeing the development of the 169-unit 1321 Seneca residential condo project in Seattle scheduled to begin construction in mid-2014 that Lowe's is building with joint venture partner Alecta, Morris will also scout out new investment and development opportunities in the area.
Morris was previously a development director for Alliance Residential and prior to that was senior investment manager of multifamily development for Schnitzer West, LLC. Over the past 15 years she has been involved in the development of more than 1,450 multifamily units in the greater Seattle area, as well as commercial project development and leasing in the Seattle and Portland areas.
Lowe Enterprises has made numerous commercial and hospitality property acquisitions in the Pacific Northwest, recently acquiring and renovating the Red Lion Hotel on Fifth Street in Seattle.
The Los Angeles-based firm is also a joint venture partner in Suncadia Resort in Cle Elum, WA and the Sunriver Resort in Central Oregon. Those properties, as well as the Woodmark Hotel, Yacht Club and Spa in Kirkland, are operated by the firm’s hospitality subsidiary, Destination Hotels and Resorts.
