Mobis Parts America Signs 301,000-SF Deal in Fairburn

Automaker Moves to South Creek in Q3 2012

Mobis Parts America, a subsidiary of automaker Hyundai and a distributor for Kia, leased 301,152 square feet at South Creek Building I. The warehouse is at 1200 Oakley Industrial Blvd. in Fairburn, GA.

South Creek Building I is a 400,732-square-foot property that was constructed in 1998. It is in the Airport/North Clayton Industrial submarket. The leasing company was able to backfill the space within 22 days of it becoming vacant. Occupancy is scheduled for the third quarter.

Brad Pope, Mike Chambers and Jack Haden of NAI Brannen Goddard represented the landlord, DCT Industrial Trust. Todd Carter, the regional vice president of DCT Industrial, was the lead representative for the owner. Chris Cummings and Lee Cardwell of Colliers International handled the deal for the tenant.
