Market Trend: Boston's Industrial Vacancy Decreases Slightly to 10.9% in Q2 2012

The Industrial vacancy rate in the Boston market area decreased to 10.9% at the end of the second quarter 2012. The vacancy rate was 11.1% at the end of the first quarter 2012, 11.0% at the end of the fourth quarter 2011, and 11.3% at the end of the third quarter 2011.

Flex projects reported a vacancy rate of 13.6% at the end of the second quarter 2012, 13.9% at the end of the first quarter 2012, 13.6% at the end of the fourth quarter 2011, and 13.7% at the end of the third quarter 2011.

Warehouse projects reported a vacancy rate of 9.9% at the end of the second quarter 2012, 10.1% at the end of first quarter 2012, 10.0% at the end of the fourth quarter 2011, and 10.5% at the end of the third quarter 2011.
