Marcus & Millichap Capital Corporation (MMCC), a leading provider of financing and capital markets products in the commercial real estate
sector, has promoted six originators in the firm's Philadelphia, New Jersey and New York City offices.
John Banas, Kristopher Wood and James Conley, all in the firm’s Philadelphia office, were promoted to senior directors. Eric Seidel was promoted to associate director in the New Jersey office. Christopher Marks and Kyle Young received promotions in the firm’s Manhattan office.

joined the firm in 2011. Before that he served as senior director for a regional commercial real estate firm. He has structured more than $800 million in financial transactions throughout his career. Banas holds a bachelor's of business administration degrees in both real estate and human resources management from Temple University.
also joined the firm in 2011. He previously served as managing director of a regional commercial real estate investment firm and has more than 11 years of commercial real estate finance experience, closing more than $2 billion in transactions and specializing in the placement of debt, mezzanine debt, and JV equity. Wood holds a bachelor's and MBA from Fox School of Business, and served in the U.S. Army under the Special Operations Branch.
joined the firm in 2007. He previously served as vice president at MBC Capital and brings more than 10 years of commercial real estate finance experience, specializing in structured finance for all property types. Conley holds a bachelor's degree in business from Wilmington College in Delaware.
joined the firm in 2011, having most recently held the position of associate in the company's New Jersey office. Before that he served as an account executive with The GMS Group. Seidel holds a bachelor's of business administration in finance and marketing from Stetson University in Deland.
joined the firm in 2009 and has more than seven years of commercial real estate finance experience with more than 200 transactions in the New York metro area. Before that he was a senior loan officer with Velocity Commercial Capital and served as a loan analyst and sales manager at Capital One Financial.
joined the firm in 2012 and specializes in financing commercial real estate transactions in the New York metropolitan markets. Prior to joining MMCC, he held the lead web content manager position at Allstate Insurance, co-founded a toffee company, and co-founded the Diamond Lake Investment Club. Young earned his MBA from the University of Illinois in Chicago.
