Henry C. Lomax Jr. joined CB Richard Ellis Group (NYSE:
CBG) to oversee its operations in Charlotte. Lomax assumed the title of managing director after serving as chief investment officer of Crescent Resources, one of the largest commercial property developers and land managers in the Southeast.
Lomax has nearly 27 years of experience in finance and
commercial real estate. After graduating from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with an M.B.A. in 1984, he spent two years as a senior accountant at Ernst & Young working with real estate, retail and manufacturing clients. Lomax then moved to Bank of America for eight years. As a vice president, he managed financial reporting and asset valuation of portfolios of real estate investments for institutional clients.
His longest tenure was at Crescent Resources, where he worked for 16 years and gained increasing leadership and industry experience. Lomax was a senior vice president in the capital markets group before his election as Crescent’s CIO.
