The PeoplesBank branch located at 547 Memorial Ave. in West Springfield, MA has not only been recently renovated, but in the process has been awarded LEED Gold certification by the USGBC.
The 3,978-square-foot building incorporated many green features including using cool roof materials, incorporating drought-resistant landscaping and irrigation systems, as well as 34 percent of the building materials being extracted, harvested, recovered or manufactured within 500 miles of the site.
This is the second PeoplesBank branch to earn LEED-certification in Massachusetts.
