Lincoln Southeast Snaps Up Two Shopping Centers in Woodstock, GA

Company Buys Shops at Towne Lake, Buckhead Crossing for Client
January 25, 2018
Lincoln Property Company Southeast just added two retail centers north of Atlanta to its growing portfolio.

Lincoln said it closed Jan. 18 on the Shops at Towne Lake and the adjacent Buckhead Crossing in the Towne Lake area of Woodstock, about 30 miles north of downtown Atlanta in Cherokee County. Lincoln acquired the centers on behalf of an unnamed private client for an undisclosed price. Shops at Town Lake, built in 2004, is a 77,781-square-foot center located at 1430 Towne Lake Pky. Buckhead Crossing, a 23,745-square-foot center at 1065 Buckhead Crossing, was built in 1998.

The seller was Harbour Retail Partners, which was represented by CBRE's National Retail Partners. LPC Southeast's Chip Sipple handled the acquisition on the local level at Lincoln, which takes over as manager of the properties for their new owner.

"Located in the heart of the highly coveted Towne Lake community, Shops at Towne Lake and Buckhead Crossing benefit from strong leasing momentum in the region and a dominant position near the Towne Lake interchange," Sipple said. "These properties also boast a diverse and healthy tenant lineup, including specialty grocer Sprouts, that will continue to meet the needs of this vibrant and bustling region for years to come."

In addition to Sprouts, the tenant roster at the two centers includes Tuesday Morning, Zoe's Kitchen, Keegan's Irish Pub, Sports Clops and Pet Supermarket.
