SunTrust Banks shook up its corporate real estate operations following a strategic evaluation of its facilities and real estate transaction management.
The Atlanta-based banking organization awarded the facilities management contract for all of its office and operations space to Lincoln Harris CSG, an affiliate of Lincoln Property Co. Under terms of the contract, Lincoln Harris will provide engineering, maintenance, landscaping and other facilities-related services. The company replaced the previous third-party management firm June 1.
In addition, SunTrust selected Cassidy Turley to supplement the bank's corporate real estate group by providing transaction management, project management, lease administration and portfolio planning services for SunTrust's office facilities and branches throughout its footprint. The agreement took effect July 1.
David Dierker, corporate executive vice president and head of Enterprise Core Services at SunTrust, said selecting Lincoln Harris and Cassidy Turley will enhance the bank to plan, operate and manage its facilities more efficiently and effectively.
SunTrust operates an extensive branch and ATM network throughout the Southeast and Mid-Atlantic states. Jones Lang LaSalle previously provided facility management services to the bank.
