Levin Management has expanded its retail leasing team in response to a rebounding regional retail market by hiring Gloria Mercado of Mullica Hill, NJ and Marcia Minton (pictured, right) of Yardley, PA. The pair will be tasked with tenant transactions within the retail real estate services firm's 90-property, 12.5 million-square-foot shopping center portfolio.
Mercado brings 25 years of experience in retail sales, leasing and tenant representation across the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic markets. Minton has been involved in real estate for 15 years, seven of which were in the shopping center sectors of New Jersey, Pennsylvania and the south central U.S.
"Following a marked improvement in leasing activity last year, 2013 has maintained a steady transaction volume involving national, local and franchise companies," said Michael Cohen, vice president leasing for Levin. "Gloria and Marcia have hit the ground running, and we are particularly appreciative of their depth of experience."
