Leidos Fully Leases Proposed 18-Story Office Tower in Reston for HQ

Boston Properties to Kick Off Construction This Quarter After Securing Leading Defense Contractor to Anchor Development
February 1, 2018
Leidos Holdings (NYSE: LDOS) has reached a deal to fully occupy a proposed 18-story, 287,000-square-foot office tower in Reston, VA for its corporate headquarters.

The American defense company and leading government contractor will relocate its corporate offices from nearby Two Freedom Square to 17Fifty, Boston Properties' trophy office tower set to break ground this quarter off the Reston Pky. at 1750 Presidents St. within Reston Town Center.

Leidos' lease includes the entire building with the exception of 7,900 square feet of street-level retail space being listed in-house by Boston Properties.

17Fifty, which has been designed by local firm Shalom Baranes Associates, is slated to deliver in the first quarter of 2020.

Brian McMullan and Douglas Seale of JLL represented Leidos in negotiations, while Katie Yanushonis represented Boston Properties in-house.
