Le Creuset, a French cookware manufacturer, has announced its $2 million investment for a 93,000-square-foot expansion to its existing distribution site located at 114 Bob Gifford Blvd. in Early Branch, SC.
Prior to the investment, Le Creuset had purchased a 116,000-square-foot building last June as a $3.5 million investment in Hampton County. This is the fourth time Le Creuset has publicized their growth and investments in South Carolina.
The Secretary of Commerce for South Carolina, Bobby Hitt, remarks, "Le Creuset is a world-class company that has had presence in South Carolina for more than three decades. This investment not only shows the company’s commitment to our state, but that South Carolina’s skilled workforce and exceptional access to markets continue to help our existing firms expand and create new jobs."
The South Carolina Department of Commerce brokered this expansion deal.
