Kane Realty Corp. will develop an 18-story office tower totaling 300,000 square feet at the North Hills mixed-use development in Raleigh's Midtown area.
North Hills Tower Two, designed by Durham, NC-based Duda/Paine Architects, will begin construction in December and is slated for opening in fall, 2015. The building on Six Forks Road will include 10 stories of office space
on top of seven stories of parking and retail on the ground floor.
Raleigh-based Kane Realty has been very active in the area, currently building Midtown Park, a 650-unit residential community in North Hills, and the soon-to-open Hyatt House Hotel.
Office demand is growing and the market needs more product, said Harvey Schmitt, president and CEO of the Greater Raleigh Chamber of Commerce.
Synergy Commercial Advisors will provide project marketing and leasing for the new tower.
