Andrew C. Schenk joined KBS Capital Markets Group as regional vice president to develop and manage broker/dealer and registered investment advisor relationships on behalf of KBS-CMG for KBS REITs. He will supervise the company’s Lower Midwest region, which includes nine office buildings totaling more than 4.4 million square feet in southern Illinois, eastern Missouri, Arkansas and western Tennessee.
Schenk has more than two decades of securities product sales and trading experience.
He is the former regional marketing director at American Legacy (American Funds VA) in St. Louis where he oversaw a two-state territory for the firm’s independent and Edward Jones channels, focusing on variable annuity products. Schenk also spent two years with Claymore Securities in St. Louis.
“Andrew’s extensive sales and consulting experience has translated into an excellent track record of developing new business and expanding existing client bases, especially in the Midwest” said Mick Manning, KBS-CMG executive vice president. “Given the ongoing success of KBS REITs, there was an immediate need for a leader to navigate continued growth in this increasingly important region.”
The Denison University graduate holds Series 7 and 63 licenses from the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, and a life, health and accident insurance certification.
