Jacksons Join Cushman & Wakefield in Tampa

New Directors Recruited from Colliers

John Jackson and Melanie Jackson (pictured, right) have joined Cushman & Wakefield as directors in the firm's Tampa, FL office. The pair join the firm from Colliers International.

Melanie has more than 11 years of commercial real estate experience with a focus on assisting local, regional and national corporate office space users. Throughout her career she has executed 450 transactions covering more than 4 million square feet. She was named FGCAR Top Office Producer multiple times, is a CCIM designee and member of SIOR. Melanie is a graduate of the University of Tampa and served on its Alumni Association board.

John, a 14-year industry veteran, will specialize in the leasing, sale and acquisition of industrial properties as well as site selection and development services. He is a three-time Florida Gulfcoast Commercial Association of Realtors (FGCAR) Top Industrial Producer for the Tampa Bay region, holds the CCIM designation and is a certified general contractor and excavation and underground utility contractor in the state of Florida. He earned his bachelor's degree in business management and finance from the University of Tampa and his MBA from the University of Colorado. John authored Warehouse Veteran: Your Tactical Guide to Industrial Real Estate, the proceeds from which are donated to charitable organizations supporting the needs of veterans. He is a former Captain in the U.S. Army, having honorably served in Operation Desert Storm and other overseas deployments.
