JLB Partners, Compatriot Capital Launch New Multifamily Investment Firm

September 21, 2017
National multifamily developer builder and manager JLB Partners and real estate investment company and Sammons Enterprises subsidiary Compatriot Capital have launched Longbrook Capital Partners, a new Dallas-based multifamily real estate investment firm that will target core investment opportunities in metropolitan markets across the U.S.

Scott Henley, formerly the CIO at privately-held residential development and management firm Simpson Housing, has been selected to lead Longbrook Capital Partners, with former Compatriot CEO Paul Rowsey to serve as a partner and chairman.

“While JLB continues to focus on identifying new opportunities for multifamily development across our platform, forming Longbrook allows us to further diversify our portfolio," said Bay Miltenberger, CEO of JLB Partners. "We are extremely fortunate to have such talented investment executives as Scott and Paul on the Longbrook team.”

JLB Partners and Compatriot Capital will continue to operate as independent entities, with Compatriot as a primary investor in JLB Partners and Longbrook.
