Hospitality development firm The John Hardy Group (JHG) has promoted Rob Willis to managing director of its New York City office. In addition, JGH has promoted three to senior project directors, including Brenda Hilgers, Brent Hardy, and Michael Lee.
The announcement comes on the heels of the firm's completion of multiple high-profile projects, including The Palace Hotel and Novotel Times Square and an iconic five-star resort on the Florida Coast. The firm is developing a ground-up boutique office building in Atlanta. It also is operating in New York and Paris, and plans to open an office in Los Angeles this year.
"As our portfolio of high-profile work expands, we've put an emphasis on positioning top talent throughout the country," said John Hardy, CEO and president of JHG.
Willis has spent more than two decades in hospitality and development, including four years at Starwood Hotels & Resorts.
Hardy (pictured, top right) will be tasked with opening the new office in Los Angeles. He joined JGH in 2008, and before that was with Rosemann & Associates Architects in St. Louis.
Lee, based in Washington DC, graduated from George Washington University and was previously with MYL Development & Services, Inc. and Thurston Companies.
Hilgers is a LEED Green Associate and is a member of the Project Management Institute. She started her career at Pyramid Project Management LLC.
