|Jonathan Tesser and Michael Markey Rejoin Colliers in New Jersey|
Jonathan Tesser and Michael Markey have rejoined Colliers International as executive managing directors. The industrial specialists will be based in the Central New Jersey office, focusing on brokerage and advisory services for the sale and leasing of industrial real estate.
As a team, the duo has worked together over the past 26 years representing both tenants and landlords, arranging nearly 50 million square feet of transactions for an extensive client list that includes Johnson & Johnson, Staples, Sports Authority, Bristol Meyers Squibb, BASF, Rema Foods, Graham Packaging, and many more.
"Jon and Mike continue to be two of the most dynamic, successful, and respected real estate professionals in the New Jersey industrial market," said Robert R. Martie, executive vice president of the New Jersey region for Colliers International. "They have tremendous relationships with tenants and landlords alike, a truly impressive depth and breadth of market knowledge, and a sophisticated, client-first approach. They are real difference makers. We couldn’t be happier to have them back."
Tesser is a 27-year industry veteran specializing in industrial sales, leasing, development consultation, and market analysis, and is an active SIOR member. Markey is a repeat winner of the CoStar Power Broker award, and is a long-standing member of the Senior Counsel for the New York Tri-State area's Industrial and Office Real Estate Brokers Association (IOREBA) having served as its president from 2003-2004.
They both originally joined Colliers International in 1990, prior to holding senior executive positions with JLL. Having returned, they're expected to enhance Colliers' successful New Jersey industrial practice and increase market share in Central and Northern New Jersey.
