Howard Appointed as President of Lee & Associates Charleston

Former Head of Company’s Carlsbad Office Tapped to Lead Southeast Operations
March 1, 2018
David Howard has been tapped to lead the Lee & Associates Charleston, SC office as president.

Previously, Howard served as president of the firm’s Carlsbad, CA office for the past eight years. He spearheaded the expansion of Lee & Associates’ North San Diego County operations, which is now being led by Patrick Walker. Howard will work in the same capacity in Charleston, a new position for the office according to the Los Angeles-based firm’s CEO Jeffrey Rinkov.

“As president of the Carlsbad office, Dave was instrumental in building and expanding his office on both transactional activity and agent growth,” noted Rinkov. “I am thrilled that we are able to continue to have Dave’s leadership with his move to the South East, an important area of focus and expansion for Lee & Associates.”

Before joining Lee & Associates in 2005, Howard was the founder and CEO of Irvine, CA-based tenant rep firm Resource Commercial Real Estate, Inc. (RCRE), of which he grew from one person into six offices and 62 agents over a 10-year period. Other management positions Howard was involved with included director of real estate for TRW Information Services “Experian”, a real estate manager for Macy’s and a member of the tenant advisory group at CBRE.

Howard is currently a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and NAIOP, where he was formerly a member of its Board of Directors in the San Diego Chapter. He is a graduate from Cal State Fullerton and served in the U.S. Coast Guard.
