Forty-year multifamily veteran W. Dean Henry was appointed chief executive officer by the board of KBS Legacy Partners Apartment REIT, a non-traded REIT co-sponsored by KBS Capital Advisors LLC and Legacy Partners Residential, Inc.
On the board of directors, C. Preston Butcher will continue to serve as the chairman of KBS Legacy Partners Apartment REIT. Henry had replaced Butcher in August as Legacy Partners Residential chief executive officer. Guy K. Hays will assume the role as president, who was the former chief financial officer for Legacy Partners Residential, Inc. Robert A. Calleja, senior vice president of Legacy Partners Residential of finance, became chief financial officer.
Henry is an expert in the acquisitions/development, management, financing, and dispositions of apartment assets. He serves on the executive committee of the National Multi-Housing Council and is chairman of the National Association of Home Builders Multifamily Leadership Board.
