In addition, Tim Pire, a 21-year veteran of Heitman, will take on added responsibilities in a new role as chief investment strategist of the firm’s global real estate securities business unit.

Most recently, he was with Deutsche Bank/RREEF Real Estate where he served as lead portfolio manager and head of real estate securities from 2004 to 2013.
In his new role as chief investment strategist, Pire will oversee the firm’s global portfolio, risk management and marketing processes to support Heitman’s real estate securities strategies.
"With years of industry experience, unparalleled knowledge of our North American real estate securities portfolio and global investment process, and his strong working relationships with our global portfolio management teams, Tim is uniquely positioned to undertake this critical new appointment," said Kathy Sandstrom, Senior Managing Director, Public Real Estate Securities.
