Capital Real Estate Advisors purchased 1000 S. Central Ave. in Glendale, CA, from Supervalu Inc. (NYSE:
SVU) for $9.05 million, or about $268 per square foot. The property was vacant at time of sale.
Built in 1966, the 33,699-square-foot retail building on about 2.38 acres is a former Albertson's Supermarket. Albertson's was reported to have vacated the premises around the beginning of last month.
The buyer is currently listing the property for sale and for lease.
