Seattle native, Getty Images, has signed a 10-year lease for about 59,300 square feet in the 605 Union Station
office building located at 605 5th Avenue S. in Seattle, WA. The company is relocating from 601 N. 34th St. and will occupy the fourth and fifth floors.
Originally founded in 1993 as Getty Investments LLC, Getty Images was formed in a merger between Getty Communications and PhotoDisc, Inc. in 1997. The company is a supplier of digital media to both businesses and consumers with distribution offices around the world.
605 Union Station was built in 2000 and is owned by MIG Corp. The nine-story office building totals 254,995 square feet of class A space on 7.8 acres in the Pioneer Square / Waterfront submarket of King County.
