Gartner to Relocate Midwest Operations to River North Point

Research and Advisory Company Signs 74,000-SF Lease with Equity Office
February 15, 2018
Gartner, Inc. (NYSE: IT), a research and advisory company that acquired CEB in 2017, will be relocating its Midwest operations to the River North Point building at 350 N. Orleans St. in Chicago. The tenant signed a 74,450-square-foot lease, occupying two floors within the 1.3 million-square-foot office tower.

Currently located at 200 W. Jackson Blvd., the Stamford, CT-based company plans to move to River North Point this summer. Gartner will be joining The Illinois Institute of Art, GGP, Comcast Sports Net, Fox Interactive Television LLC, Ronin Capital and The Chicago Sun-Times at River North Point.

The 15-story office building was constructed in 1977 and completely renovated in 2005. Equity Office, a U.S. office portfolio company wholly-owned by Blackstone’s real estate funds, acquired the property in 2015 for $378 million, according to CoStar data.

Ellen Zalatoris, Michael Kazmierczak and Ronald Lakin of CBRE represented the landlord. Matthew Carolan and Christine Bower of JLL represented the tenant.
