Freight Farms Shifting HQ to South End District

Hydroponic Farms Designer and Manufacturer Signs 10,000-SF Lease at 46 Plympton

Freight Farms, a manufacturer of freight containers that serve as a hydroponic gardening system, leased 10,000 square-feet at 46 Plympton St. in Boston's South End district for its new corporate headquarters.

The company will relocate from 840 Summer St. to the first and fourth floors of the five-story, 30,000 -square-foot building, which was originally constructed in 1900 and is located near the Ink Block development, several hundred residential units under construction and the future site of the Boston Flower Exchange.

Scott Richmond of Landmark Real Estate Advisors represented the tenant. Tom Ashe, Patrick Buckley and Jeff Landers from TCG Partners represented the landlord, Legacy Real Estate Ventures.
