Christopher Schafer has joined E Smith Realty Partners as vice president, responsible for expanding and pursuing the firm's national accounts.
Schafer has 14 years of commercial real estate experience, previously working on the acquisition due diligence team for Behringer Harvard. He started his career as a senior real estate analyst with CoStar Group and later Cushman & Wakefield before joining JLL, where he managed leased administration operations for 32 corporate accounts and maintained a portfolio totaling 35 million square feet of office and retail space.
Schafer graduated from the University of California in Santa Barbara with a bachelor's degree in law and society and the Texas A&M University School of Law with a Juris Doctor degree. He is a 2014 CCIM candidate involved with The Real Estate Council, Urban Land Institute and Dallas Association of Young Lawyers.
