Cassidy Turley is bringing longtime Cushman & Wakefield leasing broker Lisa Dunavin over as managing principal and market leader. She will assume her new position on May 1, 2014.
Cassidy Turley, which entered Atlanta in 2011 with the acquisition of Atlanta-based Carter's brokerage and property management operations, is seeking to rapidly grow its market presence, expanding its capital markets, industrial services and property management capabilities.
Previously head of Cushman & Wakefield's project leasing group in Atlanta, Dunavin has more than 25 years of experience in the industry. She began her career with Cushman & Wakefield in 1988. Prior to rejoining Cushman in 2005, she held positions with several firms, including as senior vice president with Trammell Crow Co., leasing director with Equity Office Properties, and leasing manager with Hines.
"Lisa is a great addition to our Atlanta team, and I look forward to working with her as we continue to grow and thrive in the Southeast," said Doug Brandon, Cassidy Turley's regional managing principal. "Atlanta is a regional, national, and international business hub. It’s a strategic market for Cassidy Turley not only due to its amazing growth and demographic patterns but also because our clients need us to be there."
A graduate of the University of Texas at Austin, Dunavin has served as president of NAIOP’s Georgia Chapter and won the Atlanta Commercial Board of Realtors’ Alvin B. Cates Award, the organization’s annual recognition for Atlanta’s top real estate transaction. Recently, she was also recognized as one of Atlanta’s Top 10 producers in the landlord category by the Atlanta Commercial Board of Realtors for 2013.
