Devon USA, a Richmond-based real estate investor and developer, has revealed plans to build another warehouse facility in the James River Logistics Center in Chesterfield County, VA.

Plans for the new building will have 32-foot clear ceiling heights, 50’x60’ column spacing, eight drive-in bays and 96 loading docks.

The proposed building, which can be expanded up to a total size of 500,000 square feet, is identical to another building Devon developed in 2017 at Enterchange at Northlake in Ashland, VA, which is leased by That industrial lease marked the largest transaction in the Richmond market last year, according to CoStar’s analytics.

The site plan for the new project is approved, and Devon is working with Ashland-based McKinney & Co. to modify the existing plan for re-submission to Chesterfield County for review. James River Logistics Center at 1401-1651 Bellwood Rd. comprises fully-leased Buildings A and B, which were developed by Devon in 2002, and the proposed build-to-suit Building C. At build out, the industrial park will total 1,133,825 square feet .

Evan Magrill and Dean Meyer of Cushman & Wakefield | Thalhimer will handle the leasing efforts for the new building.
