Cushman & Wakefield has appointed Robert Skinner, MAI, MRICS to take over for long-time Senior Managing Director Randy Harwood as the head of its New England valuation and advisory operations.
As an executive director, Skinner oversaw the appraisal and valuation of office, land and mixed-use developments throughout Boston and the surrounding region. To date, he has analyzed and valued more than $13 billion in multifamily housing and $7 billion in office space totaling more than 35 million square feet.

In that time, Skinner alone valued and analyzed 15 million square feet of office, industrial and retail space, in addition to 5,000 multifamily apartments for an aggregate sum of more than $2.5 billion. He got his start in the industry at Joseph J. Blake & Associates in Boston, where he worked as an appraiser from 1996-1998.
Skinner earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Connecticut and an MBA in real estate finance and entrepreneurship from Boston University.
