Cushman & Wakefield Taps Mangum as Utah Managing Principal

Former Marcus & Millichap Exec Named to Senior Leadership Post
December 5, 2017
Cushman & Wakefield has appointed Gary Mangum to be the managing principal of the firm's Utah offices, bringing in the former regional manager and principal broker of Marcus & Millichap's Salt Lake City office, where he oversaw an increase in revenue of more than 400%.

Prior to joining Marcus & Millichap, Mangum was a partner and managing director with Synergy Real Estate Development. Before that, he was the managing director and principal broker for the commercial real estate brokerage NAI West.

Earlier in his career Mangum spent nearly a decade as the managing director and principal broker at Coldwell Banker Commercial NRT, and was a member of its national advisory board. He also has been a partner and principal broker at Prime Commercial, a Salt Lake City-based commercial real estate brokerage firm.

Mangum is active in industry groups. He recently served as the president-eElect of the Utah Chapter of NAIOP, and serves on the advisory board of the Utah CCIM Chapter.

Mangum replaces Trigger Reital, who will transition back into a production role as an office broker for the company.

"Utah is a strategic priority for our firm, and as we continue to integrate these offices into our platform, it is critical that we have strong leadership with deep and meaningful roots in the communities where we do business," said Cushman & Wakefield’s West Region President Andrew McDonald in a statement announcing the appointment. "Gary has an incredible wealth of experience and depth of knowledge that will enhance our client relationships across Utah."

Cushman & Wakefield has offices in Salt Lake City, Ogden, Park City and St. George.
