Cushman & Wakefield boosted its capital markets group with the hiring of David Boyd and Brandon Bean, two top investment sales professionals in the Houston market.
Boyd rejoins the company after serving as a senior vice president with Jones Lang LaSalle. He was initially hired by Cushman & Wakefield in 2005, operating out of the company's Dallas office. He later became a director in the New York office, working in that capacity from 2007-2010. Boyd will now serve as a senior director, with a focus on leveraging office investment sales throughout the greater Houston area.
During his career, Boyd has completed $15.2 billion in commercial property sales transactions, including single asset and portfolio sales of Class A office towers, top-tier suburban office properties, premier retail assets, and high-end apartment buildings.
Bean will be joining the company's Texas multifamily advisory team, which has sold in excess of $2.4 billion in multi-housing properties in Dallas, Houston, Austin, and San Antonio, as well as in Arkansas, Kansas, Louisiana, and Oklahoma.
Bean brings to the company, more than eight years of experience in valuation, underwriting, acquisition, and disposition of investment sales transactions.
Both Boyd and Bean carry a master of land economics and real estate from Texas A&M University. Boyd earned his bachelor of arts in history from Southern Methodist University, while Bean earned his bachelor of business administration in information and operations management from Texas A&M University.
