Cushman Promotes 2 to Director Positions
James Phillpott, John Winter III Earn Higher Ranks in Atlanta

The Atlanta office of Cushman & Wakefield promoted two veterans to director positions. John F. Winter III was named senior director of office transaction services and James Phillpott was appointed director of industrial brokerage services in Cushman’s Global Supply Chain Solutions practice.
Phillpott specializes in the leasing, acquisition, and disposition of industrial real estate. Prior to joining the transaction services group in 2005, Phillpott was the firm's senior research associate for the southeastern U.S. He currently serves as executive vice president for the Atlanta Roundtable of the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals (CSCMP) and is an active volunteer with Junior Achievement of Georgia. He graduated with a dual bachelor's degree from Florida State University in finance and real estate, as well as a master's degree in real estate finance and development from the University of Florida.
Winter has been with Cushman since 2004, specializing in office tenant representation and consultation. He works with both regional and national clients including Alston & Bird, PNC Bank, the Woodruff Foundation and McKenna Long Aldridge law firms. Winter received the John Medberry "Rookie of the Year" Award in 2006 and is a current member of the Atlanta Commercial Board of Realtors Million Dollar Club. He is a 2000 graduate from the University of Virginia.
