Crescent Expands Multifamily Development Practice

Former Richman Ascension Development Group Partner Scott Rodgers Named VP of Development

Looking to expand its multifamily development presence, Fort Worth-based real estate operating company and investment advisor Crescent Real Estate has hired Scott Rodgers as its new vice president of development.

Rodgers joins Crescent Real Estate from Richman Ascension Development Group, a multifamily real estate development firm launched by the Richman Group of Greenwich, CT and Ascension Apartment Development out of Dallas, where he served as a manager and partner responsible for sourcing and developing luxury multifamily communities in the Dallas, Austin and Denver markets.

At Crescent, Rodgers will work to source and develop multifamily projects in the company's targeted markets. Through GP Invitation Fund I, which launched in 2016, Crescent has acquired more than 6,575 units in the San Antonio, Houston, Chicago and Tampa, FL markets.

Rodgers holds a bachelor's degree in environmental design from Texas A&M University and an MBA in real estate and finance from The University of Texas at Austin, McCombs Graduate School of Business.
