Crescent Resources LLC broke ground on Circle Ninth Street, a $47 million, 303-unit apartment community in Durham, NC, this week. Delivery of the first units is planned for this fall.
The property is being constructed on a 6-acre site adjacent to Ninth Street and the historic Erwin Mill building. The community will be built with a mix of reclaimed industrial materials and is designed according to LEED certification requirements. The plan includes outdoor amenity areas, a wireless cafe, a business center and a demonstration kitchen arranged among multiple four-story apartment buildings.
Cline Design Associates of Raleigh serves as the project and landscape architect, while John R. McAdams of Durham is the land planner and civil engineer. Kettler Management of McLean, VA, will serve as the property manager.
