Craft Brew Alliance Sells Red Hook Brewery Facility for $24.5M

Sound Commercial Investments Acquire Two-Bldg. Property in Woodinville
February 16, 2018
After previously announcing its agreement to sell the Red Hook Brewery Facility last December, Craft Brew Alliance (CBA), an independent craft brewing company, has sold the two-building complex at 14300 N.E. 145th St. in Woodinville, WA to Sound Commercial Investments Holdings LLC for $24.5 million, or about $190 per square foot.

CBA decided to sell the facility to complete a key phase in the company’s ongoing efforts to optimize its brewery footprint, reduce costs and improve gross margins, according to the company’s December announcement.

The facility, totaling 129,203 square feet was constructed in 1994 and consists of an 87,753-square-foot building and a 41,450-square-foot-building.

Andy Miller, Todd Gauthier, and Jason Bloom of Kidder Mathews represented the seller. Dan Swanson, also of Kidder Mathews, and Donna Marshall of Capstone Real Estate Group represented the buyer.
