Corbion Takes 32,355 SF at Genesis R&D/Office Campus in South San Francisco

Food and Biochemical Ingredients Company Agrees to 51-Month Lease at Phase 3 Real Estate Partners' South Tower
November 2, 2017
Corbion signed a 51-month lease for 32,355 square feet in the South Tower of the Genesis life science R&D/office campus located directly off Hwy. 101 in South San Francisco.

The food and biochemical ingredients company was looking for a quick move-in and found market-ready space at 1 Tower Place, a 350,461-square-foot, 12-story office building and one of two properties that compose the Genesis complex. The North Tower, an adjacent 21-story, 400,000-square-foot high-rise, is currently under development and slated to deliver next fall.

Corbion relocated approximately 50 of its employees yesterday to the sixth floor, bringing the South Tower to 100% occupancy. Other tenants in the building include GigaGen and Achaogen.

Jay Leslie, Randy Scott, Mary Hines and Jennifer Vergara of Newmark Cornish & Carey, in collaboration with in-house rep Becka Studer, represented building owner Phase 3 Real Estate Partners in negotiations. Ben Stern, also of Newmark Cornish & Carey, brokered the deal for Corbion.
