Constant Contact Inc. amended its lease with Boston Properties for headquarters space at Reservoir Place, a 48-story, 526,918-square-foot
office building at 1601 Trapelo Road in Waltham, MA.
The email marketing firm currently leases 144,603 square feet of
office space through Sept. 30, 2015.

Under the terms of the amendment, the company has agreed to lease up to 106,723 additional square feet of office space in four tranches as such space becomes available.
The first tranche becomes available around April 1, 2013, and the fourth and last tranche becomes available around Nov. 1, 2015.
The amendment extends the term of all the leased space until Sept. 30, 2022, and provides the company an option to extend the term of the lease for one 10-year period.
Starting Oct. 1, 2015, Constant Contact’s annual fixed rent for space will be $32.50 per square foot.
Boston Properties will provide $25 per square foot for construction of the additional space and refurbishment of the current space.
