Concord Hospitality Enterprises Co. has started construction on a new dual-branded Hilton hotel that will serve as the hospitality component of the multi-million Woburn Landing project in Woburn, MA.

The 235-room development will consist of a 132-room Hampton Inn and a 103-suite Homewood Suites located at 369 Washington St. Designed by Group One Partners, the hotels will share such amenities as an indoor pool, fitness center and 602 square feet of meeting space.

Concord, working with Madison Properties and Whitman Peterson, will serve as lead developer and property manager. Callahan Construction is the general contractor.

The project is slated to deliver in late 2019 within Woburn Landing, a $55 million retail/hotel redevelopment of the former W.R. Grace & Co. chemical manufacturing plant site.

The dual-branded hotel marks Concord Hospitality’s first project in the greater Boston area. In its 30-year history, the hotel owner, manager and developer out of Raleigh, NC has been involved in more than $2.5 billion of hospitality investments.
