Damon Thames has joined Colvill Office Properties as vice president. In his new role, Thames will handle leasing and marketing activities for the firm's Houston portfolio.
Prior to joining Colvill, Thames served as a managing director with Studley in Houston. He began his career in commercial real estate
as an associate in tenant representation at CBRE in Houston. Before that he was a professional baseball player for the St. Louis Cardinals between 1999 and 2001, and also worked as a sports agent in Los Angeles for five years.
Thames graduated from Rice University with a bachelor's degree in economics, managerial studies and sports management. He serves as chairman of the board at Every Village, a non-profit benefitting the South Sudanese.
Colvill Office Properties specializes in landlord representation and currently directs leasing and marketing of 23 million square feet of office space
in Houston and Dallas.
