Joseph A. Cabrera joined Colliers International’s New York City office as the vice chairman of the firm's Eastern Region. In his new role, Cabrera will continue to build on his multi-decade track record, and will continue to deliver global real estate services to corporate tenants and landlords in New York and around the world.
Cabrera has been a leading broker in the New York region for more than 25 years, completing over 3,000 deals totaling in excess of 40 million square feet in more than 250 cities worldwide on behalf of a growing number of Fortune 500 companies. He was previously at Cushman & Wakefield, where he served as vice chairman.
Prior to joining Cushman & Wakefield, Cabrera was an executive managing director of Insignia/ESG, Inc. and prior to that was the Northeast Regional President of The Galbreath Company, where he developed the firm’s Fairfield and Westchester County offices into a significant regional force.
Cabrera will be joined by David Glassman as executive managing director in Midtown Manhattan, Robert Thuss as executive managing director in tenant representation and downtown, Mike Gordon as executive managing director in Westchester and Fairfield, Tim Kuhn as senior managing director based in New Jersey, director Kelly Broderick, and Kyle DeBussey, a downtown specialist.
